He is survived by: his wife Arlene Grindstaff Hensley Ray; his children, Mark Ray (Dana) of Burnsville, Pam Moore (Fred) of Mars Hill and Pat Bramlett (Kevin) of Mars Hill; his grandsons, Cody and Jeremy; his siblings-in-law, Jean Ray, Natalie Harris, Sue Willmott, Junior Grindstaff, Gary Grindstaff (Sherry) and Earl Grindstaff (Karen); and his nieces, Sharon Hensley (Rick), Sherry Whitson (Eddie) and Teresa Summerlin (Billy).
