With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brittie Lee Cabe Duncan (Burnsville, North Carolina), born in Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Cabe and Bertie Rhinehart Cabe; her husband Donald Herman Duncan; and her siblings, Thomas Glenn Cabe, Charles Edgar Cabe, Rose Cabe, Ann Cabe Ferguson and Shelby Jean Turpin Doughenbaugh.
She is survived by: her son Eddie Duncan (Sherry) of Spruce Pine; her grandsons, Donald Duncan, Jr. (Amanda) of Lenoir and Nathan Corey Duncan (Cheltsea) of Spruce Pine; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Julianna, Gabriel and Michael; and her sister Shirley Marie Maxwell Spence (Okey) of Matthews. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and her church family.
