It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Murphy (Burnsville, North Carolina), born in Fort Gordon, Georgia, who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Murphy and Margaret Hitson Murphy; her daughter Elizabeth Silvers; and her grandparents, Eckard, Nettie Murphy, Leonard Hitson and Beulah Taylor Hitson.
She is survived by: her children, David "Alan" Silvers (Monica) of Burnsville and Jamie Hall (Travis) of Bristol, TN; her grandsons, Eli of Johnson City, TN, Zack of Johnson City, TN, Warren Hughes of Johnson City, TN, Jacob and Cooper Ledford of Burnsville; and her brother Michael Eckard Murphy (Paula) of Little Rock, AR. She is also survived by several other extended family and friends.
