It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Robinson Young (Burnsville, North Carolina), who passed away on December 17, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Robinson and Lora Buchanan Robinson; her husband Brant Young; her brothers, Herman and Rabon Robinson; and her brother-in-law Donald Harrison.
She is survived by: her daughter Amelia Poteat of Burnsville; her granddaughter Jessica Dillingham (Paul) of Burnsville; her great grandchildren, Austin, Ryan, Josh Meadows and Kristen McMahan; her siblings, Patsy Harrison of South Toe and Frank Robinson (Brenda) of Double Island; her friend Shirley Wilson; and her caregivers, Paige Gibbs, Kim Ogle, Stacey Weaver, Crissy Robinson and Betty.
