He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Edwards and Mae Haney Edwards; his brother Creed Edwards; and his son Michael Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Diana Edwards; his children, Jacqueline Edwards of Burnsville, NC and James Edwards (Rachel); his grandchildren, Matthew, Liam and Ava of LaPorte, IN; and his brothers, Donald Edwards (Brenda) of Burnsville, NC and Dean Edwards (Angie) of Fairplay, SC. He is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He has requested, in place of flowers, to please send donations to Madison Home Care and Hospice at P.O. Box 69, Marshall, NC 28753, for their compassionate care and help during his strong battle against cancer. Keep Bennie 's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
