She is survived by: her mother Fern Miller Whitson of Jacks Creek; her family Lord; her friend Sylvia Anglin; her children, Lyle Clayton Byrd (Meghan) of Pensacola and Lydia Singer (David) of Brooksville, FL; her sister Mista Whitson (Joe) of Weaverville; her grandson Clayton Theron Singer; her nieces, Alicia Shelton (Tim) and Hannah Gosnell (Garland); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Whitson of Weaverville.
