She was predeceased by: her parent Cecil Rice; and her siblings-in-law, Donna Hughes and Fred Allen. She is survived by: her mother Barbara Crowder Honeycutt of Bolens Creek; her stepfather Kermit Honeycutt; her husband Randy Allen; her children, Rodney Forbes of Old Fort and Amber Jones (Devin Norton); her grandchildren, Johnathan Masten (Savannah), Ethan Forbes (Tori), Kayleigh Stansberry, Layla Morgan and Rhett Jones; her brother Jonathan Daniel Rice (Beverly) of Clinton, TN; her stepsisters, Karen Roberts (Tim) of Wilkesboro and Kellie Simmons (Chip) of Cary; her siblings-in-law, Linda Allen of Pensacola, David Allen of Asheville, Ricky "Cheese" Allen of Pensacola and Charles Hughes of Burnsville; and her close friends, Pat Hughes of Burnsville, Christy Edwards of Pensacola and Tonya McMahan of Pensacola. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Yancey Funeral Services (378 Charlie Brown Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pensacola Freewill Baptist Church (101115 State Hwy 197S, Burnsville, NC 28714).
