She was predeceased by: her parents, Conley Banks and Clara Holden Banks; her husband Ernest Ezell Hollifield; and her siblings, Charles Banks and Josie Banks.
She is survived by: her children, Darcus Marie Henson (David) of Burnsville, Danny Lee Hollifield (Judy Ann) of Burnsville, Rita Faye Moss of Burnsville, Sonny James Hollifield (Vivian) of Burnsville and Ernest Ray Hollifield (Rebecca) of Burnsville; her siblings, William W. "Bud" Banks (Lois) of Weaverville, Martha Saylors of Greenville, TN, Christine Martin of Barnardsville and Molly; and her siblings-in-law, Caroline, Jean, Wilma and Hyman Hollifield. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and five great, great-grandchildren.
