She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Franklin Smith; her parents, Garnett Jeffery Wilson and Virgie Mae Loy Wilson; and her sister Lois Jean Horner. She is survived by: her children, Gidget Smith Lockemy and Jeffrey Lynn Smith; her grandsons, Cody Lockemy and Jacson Pugh; her great grandchildren, Landon Lockemy and Madalyn Lockemy; and her nieces, Donna Baldwin, Rhonda Smith, Ashley Baldwin and Gage Jones.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service (306 Glenwood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rich and Thompson Chapel (306 Glenwood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
