She was predeceased by: her parents, Carter Phillips and Millie Ann Byrd Phillips; her husband Larry Arthur Murrell; her siblings, Homer, Raymond, Richard, Chester, Lester of Boyd, WG, Edward Phillips, Viola Bennett and Edna Phillips Greeson; and her nephew-in-law Ricky Whitesell.
She is survived by: her sister Vola Stewart; her nieces, Debbie Mabe (Barney) and Lisa Whitesell; her godchildren, Jacob Whitesell (Casey Loy) and Megan Whitesell (Tommy Faucette); her siblings-in-law, Jerry Murrell (Joyce Fender), Dolly Gunnell (Jimmy), Donna Oakley (Cliff) and Bonnie Murrell (Jodie Summers); and her great-nephew Chris Clapp. She is also survived by ten nephews, five nieces, numerous great nieces and nephews as well as other extended family.
