She was predeceased by: her parents, James Delbert Phillips and Nora Mebane Phillips; and her mother-in-law Kathaleen Porter. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Porter; her children, Tommy Porter, Lonnie Porter, Michelle Gibson and James Phillips; and her brother John Phillips. She is also survived by 17 grandkids; and 15 great grandkids.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rich and Thompson Chapel (306 Glenwood Ave, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
