He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Baker Mullis and Charlie Hubert Mullis; and his siblings, Elbert "Buddy" Mullis and Marion Mullis Ross. He is survived by: his wife Deborah "Debbie" Mann Mullis; his daughters, Sonya Mullis Fields (Dennis) and Ashley Mullis Cantrell (Randall); his granddaughters, Vanessa Cantrell and Reagan Fields; and his sister Lillie "Toot" Everette of Garner, NC. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
