He was predeceased by: his parents, Broddie Edward Ragan and Annie May Dean Gilbert; and his wife Jessie M. Ragan. He is survived by: his children, Steven E. Ragan (Elizabeth) and Connie L. Ragan (Katrina Benton); his grandsons, Christopher Ragan, Brandon Ragan (Paige), Andrew Ragan and Zachary Ragan (Jessica); his great grandchildren, Stella and Ferris Ragan; and his brother James.
