He was predeceased by: his children, Sandy Scarborough and Steven Wayne Howard; and his brother Wayne Howard. He is survived by: his wife Pam Lunsford Howard; his son Steve Voss Howard, Jr. (Amy); his stepsons, Donnie (Shannon), Chad and Kevin; his grandchildren, Chase, Dylon (Zaren), Hailey, Dally (Dylan), Briella, Kaylee and Mattie; his great grandchildren, Zayne, Zahara and Zurie; and his close friends, John Hedden, Liz Hedden and Gwen Howard.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Omega Funeral Service & Crematory Chapel (2120 May Dr, Burlington, NC 27215).
