We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2024, at the age of 66, Rickey Lee Murray (Burlington, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Carl "Dee" and Irene Murray; and his brother Dean Murray. He is survived by: his wife Joni; his children, Danielle Sockwell (John Paul) and Dylan Murray (Katelyn); his grandchildren, Easton, Braxton Murray, Case, Cailynn and Cassie Sockwell; his sister-in-law Devonah Murray; and his close friend Hubert Penland.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Apple's Chapel Christian Church (7345 NC-61, Gibsonville, NC 27249). A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:45 PM at the Apple's Chapel Christian Church Cemetery (7345 NC-61, Gibsonville, NC 27249).
