She was predeceased by: her spouse Marvin Odell McCollum; her parents, Buford Mason and Bessie Norman Mason; her daughter Diane McCollum; and her siblings, Rosemary France and Gene Mason.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy McMillen of Burlington, Janice Ryals of Burlington and Beth McCollum of Garner. She is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
