He is survived by: his sons, Garth Schumacher (NormaRae Hunt) of Minneapolis, Minn, David Schumacher (Kelly) of Burlington, N. C. and Peter Schumacher (Keren Rivas) of Gibsonville, N. C.; and his grandchildren, Sarah Elizabeth Schumacher of Elon, N. C., Brian Baker Schumacher of Washington, D. C., Hannah Nell Wallace (Kyle) of Cartersville and Emma Caroline TeVault (Connor) of Concord, N. C.. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
