She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley Mitchell and Katherine Lelia Hall Mitchell; her spouse Kemp McKinley Loy, Sr.; her son Kemp "Kenny" Loy, Jr.; her grandson Kirk Vincent; and her siblings, Jessie Mitchell, Alma Mitchell and Doris Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Bullard, Susan Loy and Lisa Wright (Dickie); her grandchildren, Paul Loy (Bobbie), Amy Whitfield (Lonnie) and Jason Pope; her brother William "Bill" McKinley Mitchell, Jr.; and her extended family Kim Vincent. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
