She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Clapp and Myrtle Mae Clapp; her sisters, Agnes C. Belvin and Mary Ellen Andrews; and her nephew William Andrews.
She is survived by: her husband Wade C. Loy.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Friendship Church (4612 Friendship Patterson Mill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215). A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Friendship Church Cemetery (4612 Friendship Patterson Mill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215). A burial was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
