He was predeceased by: his parents, William Staley and Fannie Belle Staley; his wife Patsy Carter Staley; his siblings, Lois S. Butler, Pearl S. Loy, Rachel S. Stokes, Colin R. Staley, William D. Staley and Ruby Staley; and his daughter-in-law Jeanette L. Staley.
He is survived by: his children, Roger N. Staley (Martha) and Carol S. Stamper (Cheryl Feeney); his grandchildren, Lauren Sailors, Adam Staley (Erin), Jordan Staley, Matthew Stamper (Andi), Andrew Stamper and Cynthia Jackson (Erik); and his great grandchildren, Noah and Cooper Sailors.
