She is survived by: her sister Judy Ashby Perry; her nephew Michael T. Buckner (Meredith) of Durham, NC; her nieces, Wendy Buckner Apple (Jonathan) and Caroline Apple Henry (Cassie Henry); her great-nephew William Buckner Apple (Margaret Lacy Apple); her close friend Hal Schaefgen of Whitsett, NC; her friends, Christopher Todd Benkosky (Jennifer) of Burlington and Carissa Lynn Benkosky; and her close friend Patricia Wilson Biddix (Calvin) of Reidsville.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Alamance Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
