She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wall Liles and Aileen Chamblee Liles; and her brother John Wall "Jack" Liles, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband John Allen Knight; her children, Elizabeth Knight Conde (Libby), John Allen Knight, Jr. and David Wall Knight (Avery); her grandchildren, Banks Abel Conde, Alexander Janssen Knight, Ann Marie Liles Knight, Liles Wall Knight and Bowen Crandall Knight; her nephew John Wall Liles, III (MaryBeth); and her niece Mary Howerton Liles.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the First Presbyterian Church and Hospice of Burlington.
