She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Isaac Rice and Annie Gertrude Boswell; her husband Ronald Lee Barts; and her brother Kennth E. Rice of Burlington, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Randy L. Barts (Lisa) of Marion, NC, Samuel Michael Barts (Mike) of Blairs, VA, Stevie Ray Barts (Ana) of Burlington, NC, Pamela Barts Robertson of Burlington, NC and Joy Barts Cleary (Kevin) of Hennisville, MO; and her siblings, Mary Ann Rice Howell (David) of Liberty, NC, W. Glen Rice of Harpers Inland, NC and James M. Rice (Jane) of Clairmont, OK. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
