She is survived by: her husband Melvin Torain (Skip); her daughter LaTresa Torain Bellanger (Derrick Sr.); her grandchildren, Derrick Bellanger Jr. (Man), Keonya Bellanger (Shon), Brittany Bellanger and TruVera Stanfield; her great grandchildren, Drew and Damarion Bellanger; and her siblings, Luther Chrisp (Lukie), Howard Chrisp (Monk), Gonzola (PeeWee), Glenda Chrisp-Leath (Deat) and Brenda Chrisp (Pokey). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She dedicated her life to being a caretaker for older adults and her contributions to her work left a lasting impact on those who knew her.
