We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 91, Lillian B. Burton of Burlington, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lillian B. Burton to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bagby and Mollie Harris Bagby; her son Bernard Bagby; and her siblings, Dorsey Bagby, Cleveland Bagby, Marian Ruth Throckmorton, Lodema Nelson, Goldie Thorpe and Inez Burton.
She is survived by: her children, Pearl Thompson, Edna Graves (Marshall), Larry Burton, Dianne Wells (Alex) and Bryant Burton; and her sister Hessie Johnson. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (508 Apple St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
