It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Earl Payne of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Levi Payne and Virginia Creggar Payne; his sons, Michael Irving Herron and Jeffrey Wayne Herron; and his siblings, Ervin Payne and Kathy Payne.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha McCullock Payne; his daughter Katherine Payne Reed of Burlington; his siblings, Bennie Payne of Burlington, Zetta McKenzie of Burlington, Cheryl Dellinger of Haw River, Karen Hill of Reidsville and Thelma Steele of Burlington; and his grandchildren, Alexandria Reed of Graham and Brendan Reed of Burlington.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (1358 Antioch Church Rd, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
