He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Vernell Thomas, Sr. and Janice Marie Jennings Bailey; his stepfather Elbert Ray Bailey; and his sisters, Angela Thomas Lynch and Doyce Bailey Baynes.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela Vann (Owen); his grandchildren, Dylan Dove, Wesley Vann and Eleana Vann Haithcock (Lee); his great grandchild Oliver Haithcock; his siblings, Ronald Thomas, Jr. (Ana) and Annette Weatherly (Ken); his nieces, Amber Guerra, Kirsten Bryant and Kayla Weatherly; his friends, Gary Ledford, Sybil Goodson, Pat Goodson and Alan Padgett; and his cousin Burney Jennings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pine Hill Cemetery (1200 S Main St, Burlington, NC 27215).
