It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jimmy Poteat Jr. of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 14, 2024, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Poteat Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Mae Frances Gwynn Poteat of Burlington, NC; and his daughters, Precious Walker of Burlington, NC and Candance Hunter of Gibsonville, NC. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
