With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jim Chapman (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 1, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otta B Chapman, Sr. and Esther Lee Chapman. He is survived by: his wife Sue Rivers Chapman; his daughters, DeAnne Young (Keith) of Burlington and Kandis Florian (Donovan Cheatham) of Durham; his grandchildren, Eden Weden, Amaris Wamaris, Zander Wander, Silas Wilas and Maggie Waggie; and his sisters, Faye Harrington (Dick) of Greenville and Lynne Yankle (Bob) of Burlington. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
