She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Clay Sheppard and Laura Kate Cole Sheppard; her husband Henry C. Johnson, Jr.; and her siblings, Vernell Sheppard, Henry Clay Sheppard, Jr., John Billy Sheppard, Glenna Johnson, Beatrice Hicks, Mozelle Patoka, Sally Conklin and Maxine Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Johnson (Audrey) and Jan Johnson; her grandchildren, Beverly Crabtree (Rick), Jennifer Herring (Rocky), Evan Crabtree (Rebecca), Cameron Johnson (Courtney) and Kristen Ward (Kyle); and her sister Joann Cates (Herbert). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
