She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Clifford Whitt (Kate Steele Whitt) and Jean; her husband William "Billy" Coleman Long, Sr.; her daughter Nancy Long McElroy; and her sister Nell Whitt Barrow Caskey.
She is survived by: her son William Coleman Long II (Patti); her grandchildren, Ryan Long (Natalie), Jonathan Long (Erin) and Whitney McElroy Love (Donta); her great grandchildren, Vaden of Brighton, A. J., Grady and Emerie; and her friends, Barbara Perry and Martha Lee Marvin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
