She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Wise Gentry and Gertrude Gentry Melton (Owen); her husband Charles Eugene Lashley; her children, Tammy Gail Bowen and Kermit Leander Bowen; and her siblings, Ira Willie Gentry and Shirley Gentry Cannada.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy Andrew Bowen, Trudy Bowen Underwood, Ira Richard Bowen, Jr. and Cecila Jones Smith. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
