It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Stephen Lynch (Burlington, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Thompson Lynch and Audrey Mariam Lemons Lynch; and his grandparents, George Thompson Lynch, Sr., Phoebe Stone Lynch, Chandler Lemons and Eurie Harris Lemons.
He is survived by: his wife Betsy White Lynch; and his siblings, Marshall Lynch (Michelle) and Phoebe Cole (Larry). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mebane United Methodist Church (200 S 4th St, Mebane, NC 27302). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Oakwood Cemetery.
