With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Andrew Tinsley of Burlington, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Tinsley and Arnes Graves Tinsley of Caswell County, NC; his former wife Elaine Herbin Tinsley; his grandson Victor Mckoy; and his brother Steven Tinsley.
He is survived by: his children, Victor Lamont Tinsley (Letisha) and Stella Michelle Tinsley of Greensboro, NC; his siblings, Roy Tinsley (Betty) of Newport News, VA, Tommie Tinsley of Gibsonville, NC, Jeanette Lynn of Greensboro, NC and Annette Booker of Greensboro, NC; and his grandchildren, Julia Cummings, Lataysia Tinsley, Natanya Palmer and Elenia King (Kentrel). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
The family is accepting donations at the time.
