Johnson; her grandson Chaz Johnson Wilcher; her son-in-law Calvin Evans, Sr.; and her siblings, Charles Jones (Janet), Fred Jones, Robbie E. Coble (Elder Tyson), Mazie Riley (Brodie), Mozelle Jones Tate (Charles), Lacy Jones (Cora), Nathaniel Jones (Katherine), John Jones, Percil Jones (Jean) and Benjamin Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Alphonso Scott Johnson Jr. (Deborah "Debbie") and Gail J. Evans; her grandchildren, Tylar B. Johnson and Calvin L. Evans, II; her brother Robert Jones; and her sisters-in-law, Eddie Mae Jones and Hilda C. Jones. She is also survived by nieces & nephews, other relatives and friends.
A wake was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hunter's Chape AME Church (201 Buckhorn Rd, Mebane, NC 27302). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the same location.
