He is survived by: his mother Grace Mae Phillips; his brother Wesley Phillips of Orange, NJ.; his stepdaughters, JoAnn Stewart (Michael) of Burlington, NC. and Myra Thompson of Graham, NC.; his cousin Brother Joseph Johnson Jr. (Sandi) of Graham, NC.; his significant other Phillis Siler of Greensboro, NC.; and his cousins, Dwight Dewitte, Michael, Peewee, Derrick, Tony and Eric Phillips.
A wake was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sharpe Funeral Home (520 Rosenwald St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at the North Lawn Cemetery (947 Ross St, Burlington, NC 27217).
