He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Corbett and Elizabeth Corbett; his brother Waddell Corbett; his brother-in-law Walter Murray; and his niece Mia Corbett.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Corbett; his son Chad Corbett (Maria) of Winston-Salem, NC; his siblings, Carolyn Walker of Burlington, NC, Inise Degraffenreidt of Mebane, NC, Patty Corbett of Cedar Grove, NC, Junius Corbett (Ometta) of Mebane, NC and Ronald Corbett (Annetta) of Burlington, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Regina Corbett, Carolyn Turner, Mable Patterson, Gwendolyn Walington, Jolevan Lawall, Jiri Miles and Nina Gonzales.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Miles Chapel Baptist Church (3911 Dickey Mill Rd, Mebane, NC 27302). Due to Covid-19 and other viruses, face masks are advised for all services.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the AuthoraCare Collective (Hospice) of Burlington, NC.
