George William Lloyd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George William Lloyd of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Sr. Lloyd and Pearlena Nickerson Lloyd; and his brothers, Freddie Jr., Pearlman, Wilbert, Jerry and Jimmy Lloyd.
He is survived by: his siblings, Pearlena Staton of Snow Camp, NC and Phillip Lloyd of Graham, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Nellie Enoch, Erma Lloyd, Doris Lloyd, Brenda Lloyd and Alice Jean Lloyd. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM and at 2:00 PM. Due to Covid-19 and other viruses, face masks are advised for services.
