She was predeceased by: her parents, Weldon Smith and Zora Smith; her husband Alfred John Cook (A. J.); and her brothers, Granville Smith and Silas Smith.
She is survived by: her son Roy Lee Cook (Nicole); her stepgrandchildren, Mekenzie, Autumn and Montana; her great grandchild Anita Rayne; and her close friend Bill Brown.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lowe Funeral Home & Crematory (2205 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM at the Alamance Memorial Park (4039 S Church St, Burlington, NC 27215).
