It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elizabeth Michelle Hughey Patterson (Burlington, North Carolina), born in Martinsville, Virginia, who passed away on April 13, 2018, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Stanley Hutchison Hughey and Sandra Livesay Hughey; and her son Hunter Reid Abner of Burlington. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
