She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Frank Wayne Clements; and her parents, Jesse Bradley Lanning and Elisabeth Patton Lanning. She is survived by: her children, Kyle Lanning Clements (Paula) of Chapel Hill and Cathi Layne Roberts (Eric) of Burlington; her grandchildren, Madison Roberts, Grayson Clements, Ashlyn Roberts, Jessalyn Roberts, Sarah Clements and Jack Clements; her stepgrandsons, Nicholas Weckerly, William Weckerly and Evan Weckerly; her stepgreat-grandsons, Asher Weckerly and Aiden Weckerly; her sisters, Linda Keith Price of Burlington and Cinda Butler of Mebane; and her caregiver Mother.
