It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Karrer of Burlington, North Carolina, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Fisher Karrer; his former wife Mary Lou Smith Karrer; his son Donald Karrer, Jr.; and his brother Robert "Bob" Karrer, Jr. (Sara). He is survived by: his children, Christine Karrer (Mark) and John Karrer (Karin); his stepchildren, Ann Tillack (David) and Bill Gavan; his granddaughter Mary Kendall; his stepgrandchildren, Jerimy Christensen, Amanda Siembida, Will (Daisy), Shelby, Sydney and Caroline; his great grandchildren, Layla Traugh and Liam Hughes; and his stepgrandson Jerid Christensen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
