She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilkin Rummels and Carrie Rummels (James Riddle); her siblings, Ethel Marie, Milton Dean, Delores Laverne, Theresa Joan, Dorothea Mae, Gloria Jean, Thomas, Terry Lee and Darrell Keith; her daughter Katherine Langston; and her grandson Jason Riddle.

She is survived by: her husband James Clayburn Riddle (JC); her son Clayton (Kutrice); her siblings, Karen Joy, Melvin, Linda (Raymond) and Holland Rummels; and her grandchildren, Larry Haynes Jr., Lynard Tucker, Arianna Riddle, Quastasha Crowder (Nathan), Lauren, Keke and Shylay.

A wake was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Unity Worship Center (1106 E Webb Ave, Burlington, NC 27215). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
