She was predeceased by: her sister Vera Ward. She is survived by: her son James Willard "Jimmy" Owen (Rhonda) of Burlington; her grandsons, Casey Owen (Beth) of Lewisville, NC, Jake Owen (Caroline) of Atlanta and Dustin Resh of Burlington; and her great grandchildren, Emme Owen and Callen Owen.
