Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rich and Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory (207 E Elm St, Graham, NC 27253).

At Appalachian he was president of the college Wesley Foundation and vice president of the NC Methodist Student Movement.
