With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Buchanan (Burlington, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 27, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Buchanan and Odee Buchanan; and his siblings, William "Bill" Buchanan, Robert "Bob" Buchanan and Betty Jo Ellis.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara "Barb"; his daughters, Julie Thompson (Wes), Jan Moser (Frank) and Joan Dawson (Bobby); his grandchildren, Trey Moser (Krista), Kristen Nix (Brandon), Elizabeth McDougal (Matt), Taylor Saxe (Taylor), Weston Thompson and Kathryn King (Brock); and his great grandchildren, Kennedy Moser, Hayes Nix, Hudson Nix, Savannah Moser, Smith Saxe, Riley Nix, Eli McDougal, Barnes Saxe and Liam Moser.
