He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Ruben and Ruth Mae Jeffries; his wife Beatrice; and his brothers, Calvin Jeffries and Leon Jeffries.

He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Jeffries, Ruth Roulac and Jermaine Jeffries; his grandchildren, Isaiah, Gage, Gunnar, Sherrell Johnson and Ikei Sims; and his nieces and nephews, Jihanna Davis (Tommy), Jacynta Charlton, Myriam Pulliam, Audrey Ellis (Dayle), LeVan Jeffries (Carmaria), James Jeffries and Randy Jeffries.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
