It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vincenzo Polera Jr. of Burgaw, North Carolina, born in Bayonne, New Jersey, who passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincenzo Polera and Lucy Cara Polera Sr.; and his siblings, William Polera and Mary Tortora. He is survived by: his wife Jane Freeman Polera; and his children, James Polera (Janine) and Elizabeth Butrim (Jason) of Burgaw. He is also survived by six grandchildren;six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
