She is survived by: her daughter Betty Simpson; her grandchildren, Tyrone Simpson, Monte Simpson, Quameka Gause and Cierra Montgomery; and her sisters, Lillie Merritt, Sophia Williams, Eleanora Hansley and Patricia Wint.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dunn Funeral Home Chapel (810 W Wilmington St, Burgaw, NC 28425). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Moore's Creek Missionary Baptist Church (60 Minuteman Rd, Currie, NC 28435).
