It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Afton Autry of Burgaw, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Mattie Autry; his wife Sue Autry; and his brother Raleigh Autry. He is survived by: his sons, Leslie Autry and Ray Kennedy (Jackie); his grandchildren, Ronnie Kennedy (Shaina), Amber Kennedy and Taylor Moser (Jonathan); and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Avery, Jeremiah, Annaleigh, Kinsley, Avelyn and Abigail.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Quinn McGowen Funeral Home (612 S Norwood St, Wallace, NC 28466). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at the Riverview Memorial Park (9332 US-117, Willard, NC 28478).
